Terms & Conditions

Terms & Conditions

1. Contractual Framework & Corporate Identity

These Terms and Conditions govern all residential culinary training programs, workshops, and courses promoted by Circle of Misse Ltd, a company incorporated under the laws of the United Kingdom (the “Marketing Operator”), with its primary business platform at loirekitchen.com.
All on-site operations, physical accommodations, kitchen lab facilities, and culinary services are exclusively owned, managed, and executed by SARL Manoir Miti, a French Société à Responsabilité Limitée registered with the Registre du Commerce et des Sociétés (RCS) of Niort under SIREN number 915 062 939, with its registered office at 1 Impasse de l’Abbaye, 79100 Thouars, France (the “On-Site Operator”). The primary registered activity of SARL Manoir Miti is Adult Professional Training (Code APE 85.59A).

2. Nature of the Services & Dual-Entity Structure

  • The Program: The core service provided under this contract is an intensive, non-diploma culinary and creative training curriculum (the “Program”).
  • Corporate Framework: By booking an experience via Circle of Misse Ltd, the Client acknowledges that Circle of Misse Ltd acts as the international marketing gateway and payment administrator, while the actual educational curriculum, hospitality, and residential services are contractually fulfilled on-site in France by SARL Manoir Miti.
  • Exemption Status: Accommodation (Chambre d’Hôtes / Gîte) and full board (Table d’Hôtes) are provided by SARL Manoir Miti strictly as ancillary, supportive elements to the main educational training curriculum. The Client explicitly acknowledges that this is a residential workshop experience and not a commercial holiday package or leisure travel package.

3. Bookings, Deposits, and Payment

  • Reservations: Bookings are initiated directly with the operator and processed via Stripe invoicing. A booking is finalized only upon receipt of a completed registration and the required invoice payment.
  • Currency & Processing: All packages are priced and transacted strictly in Euros (€). Payments are processed securely via Stripe. While Stripe handles the automated currency conversion for international clients (including those paying from the USA, Canada, and Australia), the Client remains responsible for any underlying cross-border or foreign transaction fees imposed by their own credit card issuer or bank.
  • Final Payment: The remaining balance must be paid in full prior to the start date of the Program according to the specific schedule provided on your custom Stripe invoice.

4. Rates and Inclusions

The all-inclusive course fee covers:
  • Full culinary tuition, kitchen/workspace access, ingredients, and course materials.
  • On-site residential accommodation at the Manoir Miti estate for the duration of the course (typically 3 to 7 nights).
  • All scheduled meals (Table d’Hôtes) including regional beverage pairings. In accordance with French law (Code de la santé publique) and the Petite Licence Restaurant held by SARL Manoir Miti, alcoholic beverages (under 18% ABV) are served exclusively as an accessory to main meals and are built into the global course fee; no separate retail sale of alcohol takes place.
  • Local Arrival: Complimentary transfer from our designated regional station to the estate on arrival day, and a return transfer on departure day. This transit is offered strictly as a courtesy operational service by SARL Manoir Miti and does not constitute a commercial travel, freight, or transit package component. All long-distance travel to France and the local region remains the sole logistical and financial responsibility of the Client.

5. Client Responsibilities & Health Declarations

  • Dietary & Allergies: The Client must inform the operators of any severe food allergies or medical dietary restrictions at the time of booking. While SARL Manoir Miti adapts menus where possible for educational purposes, it operates a traditional kitchen environment and cannot guarantee a completely allergen-free facility.
  • Insurance: It is a strict condition of booking that all international clients secure comprehensive personal travel, medical, and cancellation insurance prior to departure.

6. Cancellation and Refunds

  • Cancellation by the Client: To protect against cancellation fees, you should hold appropriate travel insurance. Please provide written notice of cancellation via email. Due to pre-paid planning costs, the following charges apply based on the notice date:
More than 60 days before start: 10% of deposit
45–60 days before start: 20% of deposit
30–44 days before start: 50% of deposit
15–29 days before start: Full deposit
7–14 days before start: Deposit, plus 50% of the balance
0–6 days before start: Deposit, plus 100% of the balance
  • Transfers: If you transfer to a new course date (subject to availability), the same cancellation timeline applies based on the new date.
  • Cancellation by the Operators: If Circle of Misse Ltd or SARL Manoir Miti cancels a course (e.g., due to force majeure or illness), we will provide a full refund of all monies paid. We are not liable for any peripheral expenses, such as flights or independent travel bookings.

7. Jurisdiction and Applicable Law

The promotional, booking, and administrative elements of this contract managed by Circle of Misse Ltd are subject to the laws of the United Kingdom. The physical execution of the workshop, residential stay, on-site liability, and operations managed by SARL Manoir Miti are governed exclusively by French law. Any localized operational disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Niort, France.
